The Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment confirms that a thirteen-year old female student is the sixth (6th) person to die from complications related to Severe Dengue Fever.
The Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment wishes to advise the general public that as part of the its mosquito control programme for the adult Aedes aegypti mosquito, the Insect Vector Control Unit will be conducting fogging operations in the following areas commencing at 5:00 p.m. daily.

Vincentians are being assured that the Government will provide the necessary resources for the prevention and control of Dengue Fever in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
The Minister of Health, Wellness and the Environment Hon. Robert T.L.V. Browne announced a comprehensive Dengue Response Project for Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. The announcement was made at the Ministry's Conference Room on Friday, 2nd October, 2020.
The Public Health Department is appealing to Vincentians to conduct regular checks around their homes at least once per week, to eliminate mosquito breeding sites, as the fight continues here to reduce the population of the Aedes Aegypti Mosquito, which transmits Dengue Fever.
