Kindly note that the training video is aimed towards sensitization the public that the Ministry of Health is making all the necessary preparations for any disaster namely the Coronavirus and Ebola.

Ongoing training was conducted with the clinical and support staff from the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital (MCMH) with assistance from the Argyle International Airport (AIA) Fire Services to set-up, deploy and use of the mobile Isolation Tent and Isolation Trolley.  The equipment and supplies were procured through partnership with the National Emergency Management Organization (NEMO) on a Japanese project.  Currently, one system is stationed at AIA while the other is stationed at MCMH.  The systems come fully equipped with Air Filters, Mobile Air Conditioning Units, Ozone Generator (which produces negative air pressure so that the contained air can be filtered before  release), tables, chairs, cots, table top, autoclaves, and garbage bins.  A quantity of Personal Protection Equipment (PPEs) was also procured with these systems.

The Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment (MOHWE) takes this public health threat seriously and has increased its preparedness and response efforts to manage this event.
