The Georgetown Modern Medical Complex received a range of medical supplies compliments the St. Anthony’s Divine Church of Healing.

The handing over ceremony took place on Thursday, July 19th,2018, at the Georgetown Medical Complex.

Arch- Bishop of the St. Anthony’s Divine Church of Healing, Morton Cumberbatch, said the donation is an initiative of his wife and he is grateful to all those who made it possible for them to make the donation to the hospital. “We pray that these will go to very good use”.

He pledged to make the donation to the Georgetown Medical Complex a continuous one.

Deputy Hospital Administrator at the Georgetown Modern Medical Complex, Idinga Miller, said they are grateful to be the recipients of the donation. “I already point out some items that will be put straight to use.” Miller said that the facility has recently opened its doors and is still in the process of putting things together and this donation is an act of God.

Ward Manager attached to the Georgetown Modern Medical Complex, Sister Agatha Gittens-Stay, thanked the St. Anthony’s Divine Church of Healing for their kind gesture and assured them that the items will be put to good use.

Registrar at the Georgetown Modern Medical Complex, Dr. Ama Martin, is also grateful for the donation. She expressed gratitude to Arch-Bishop Morton Cumberbatch and his team for the donation and ask that it be a continuous one.

Some of the items include Crutches, First Aid Kits and Toiletries. 

The St. Anthony’s Divine Church of Healing has also made similar donations in the past to the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital, the Louis Punette Home and Mental Health Center.
