The Pharmacy & Therapeutic Committee, Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment, in collaboration with the Non- Communicable Diseases (NCDs), Focal Point, and the Pan-American Health Organisation (PAHO), is hosting a one-day seminar on 3rd August, at the Methodist Church Hall, Kingstown, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The workshop will focus on updating the SVG Essential Medicines list. The exercise necessitates the input of relevant stakeholders within the Ministry.  At the end of the session  the final draft of the Essential Medicines list should be ready for submission and final approval.

Mr. Francis Burnett, Head of Unit, OECS/Pharmaceutical Procurement Service, will facilitate this important exercise. Participants will include physicians, pharmacists, Family Nurse Practitioners and other health professionals. The Hon.  Luke Browne, Minister of Health, Wellness and the Environment, will deliver remarks at the event.
