The Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment wishes to advise the general public that as part of its mosquito control program, officers within the Insect Vector Control Unit will conduct fogging operations on the following days and places, beginning at 5.30 p.m.

Wednesday, 18th June 2014 - Long Wall, Port Authority, Cruise Ship Berth and Rose Place
Thursday, 19th June 2014 - Paul’s Avenue, McKie’s Hill and Kingstown
Friday, 20th June 2014 - Montrose, Gibson Corner, Block Two Thousand and Stoney Grounds

The Unit will also conduct fogging operations on the following days and places in Bequia, from 4:30 a.m. – 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.

Wednesday, 18th June 2014 - Hamilton, Union Vale and O’Carr
Thursday, 19th June 2014 - Cemetery Hill and Port Elizabeth
Friday 20th June 2014 - Lower Bay


Home owners and owners of business enterprises in the named areas are required to keep their windows and doors open to allow the fog to take effect.

Parents and guardians are advised not to allow their children to run or play near to the vehicle during fogging operations.
