The Central Water and Sewerage Authority (CWSA), is encouraging persons to invest in water storage tanks to alleviate some of the burden on the authority during the dry season.

The advice came from Public Relations Assistant at the CWSA, Ms. Samantha George, as she discussed issues relating to water conservation and storage.

Ms. George said that, while the CWSA continues to sensitise the public on water conservation measures, the focus this year is on increasing water storage at the residential level.

Also, Public Relations Assistant at the CWSA, Ms. Raeann McDowall, said that the campaign forms part of the CWSA’s efforts to better adapt to the effects of climate change.
