Saint Vincent and the Grenadines continues to see major improvements in the area of Food Safety. This was highlighted by Chief Environmental Health Officer, Mr. Rupert Doyle, who pointed out that the year 2012 has been a productive one for the Environmental Management Department in the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment.

Mr. Doyle said that more than three hundred food establishments had registered and undergone the inspection process, which they passed. He also added that the establishments had subsequently received their certificates and permission to conduct their business of preparing food for Vincentians.
