- Home visiting
- Screening and Contact Tracing / Disease Surveillance.
- Identification of at risk and high risk individuals and groups.
- Training.
- Examination of clients.
- Recording and reporting information.
- Consultation with professionals and agencies.
- Treating minor ailments.
- Psychiatric services.
- Dental services.
- Emergencies and Dressings.
- Domiciliary Midwifery.
- Contributing to the decision and policy making process.
- Participation in educational and developmental programmes for students, ancillary staff and community groups.
- Supervising junior and ancillary health personnel.
- Performing managerial / administrative duties.
- Conducting research and studies for improving the nursing programmes.
- Implementing agencies' policies and programmes.
- Evaluating implemented programmes.
- Practicing Nursing skills at all Institutions.
